Welcome to The TypeEighty!

The TypeEighty blog now accepts and welcomes guest contributions.

We have a mission to help our readers become focused, productive, and more well-versed with WordPress and blogging, so they can optimize their time, blog and business.

We’re looking for other enthusiastic bloggers to share their tips and advice on productivity, goal setting, success, and blogging with our other readers, and become part of TypeEighty community.

We would love to hear what you have to say. If you would like to write for us, please review the guidelines below.

Guidelines:

  • Content must be practical, detailed, well-researched post.
  • Content must be unique (never published or posted on the internet). Your content cannot violate any copyright laws.
  • Internal links to other content on our sites (let us know that you care!)
  • Use the Yoast content analysis editor and follow all the tool’s instructions until your SEO score is at least orange to green. We will reject content marked in red.
  • Use headers and sub-headers to break up your post.
  • Content must contain at least four (4) creative graphics and designs that are cited.
  • The suggested content length is a minimum of 1400 words.
  • Include a relevant focus keyword.
  • Ensure that all references are linked to the original source.
  • The content must be free of any grammatical errors and it must be fact-checked.
  • We reserve the right to edit the article to fit our content format and to remove any unnecessary links we may find, but we will inform you upon doing so.
  • Use more of these words, “I”, “We”, “You”. Craft your article like how you talk to a friend.
  • Please submit an author bio no longer than 300 characters. Author image should be in .png or .jpg format. We prefer 300 pixel wide and 300 pixels in length.
  • We reserve the right to tone down excessive descriptions and link stuffing.

Final submissions must include the following:

  • 1,000+ word high-quality and unique content.
  • Author bio with two links to one website and one social network. (NOTE: We do not accept spammy links.)
  • 4-5 images for the article.

Ready to Submit?

Send your article in a Google/Word Doc (.doc format only) to [email protected] along with a brief author bio (no longer than 300 characters), headshot (300 x 300) and links to your website/social media that you would like us to include.

Because we have a small team, we cannot respond to every submission we receive. However, we assure you that we carefully read every article with all of our attention and energy.

If we feel that your article is a good fit for our website, we will generally get back to you within 14 days. If you do not hear from us by then, we do welcome you to submit another article.
